Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Sumit S — 07 Nov 2012
The opening montage capturing the unprecedented beauty of Paris is enough to tell why Woody Allen fell in love with it. Amazingly well photographed. And on such a beautiful canvas, Woody Allen has written a love letter to the city & let Owen Wilson narrate it to us & he does a really nice job.
Switching between the Paris of today & the paris of 1920s, Midnight in Paris is an adventure fantasy film with the same usual humor & charm as any Woody Allen's earlier films.
