As much as I fancy the story, as well as other historical figures in the background, I wish the director had casted someone else to take up the role, not Owen Wilson. He looks more like a sleeky opportunist, not so much a man with great artistic temperaments.
I would not be slow to call him a bad apple undermining a potentially good movie.
