This is so Before Sunset. Although with a different kind of story. But the montages beginning, how it shows places in Paris, the Shakespeare's & co.. I was so sure this is Linklater's until I saw the credits.
For the story itself, is quite unique. I love how at first it seemed to be just an imagination but later they showed the scene of the lost detective. Although I have to admit you got to be a fan of literature to fully understand the situation and the characters.
