Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Adam C — 26 Jul 2014
This is one of the most joyous and creative films I have seen in some time. The films shows such a great love for the city of Paris and art itself, that it transfer onto you. Allen's enthusiasm is just hard to resist here and it is maybe his most whimsical film in years.
Its a compelling fairy tale and love letter to the art world of the early twentieth century, as well as the city of Paris, which has never looked much better then in this film. If you are a fan of history or art you will love this film.
Even if your not, it is so funny and fast moving it is hard to resist. This is one of the best Allen film's out there.
