Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Don S — 13 Dec 2014
I am not as impressed with Woody Allen movies as critics seem to be. I've seen two this week, and neither were to my liking. This movie, while seemingly meant to be whimsical, came off as dull and vapid.
The city of Paris plays a major role and is gorgeous, as is the lovely Rachel McAdams who plays an unlikable character. Owen Wilson does a fine job with the pedestrian script.
