Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Kacy B — 04 Sep 2015
From the info I hade read, it didn't seem that this was a movie that could have caught my interest, but I was completely wrong. The movie is beautifully shot, in a nostalgic Paris, where there is a longing for a forgotten era, the main character is living a questionable love story where clearly nor him neither her fiancee have so much in common. His longing for what is for him a golden age, throw him in such period of time, where he has the chance to meet the most interesting characters and this experience will change his life and his approch to life completely, so that at the end he will find his own path.
A nice message is sent through the movie, a subtle humor is dressing most of the scenes and although Owen Wilson is not my favorite actor, it worked to have him in this context.
