Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Lgc47 — 26 Jul 2011
I LOVED this film! Perhaps, I'm just nostalgic for Paris in the 1920's (and the 1890's!), but Kathy Bates' cameo as Gertrude Stein was pitch perfect, and Owen Wilson did a fine job of embodying the nerdy, intellectual Woody Allen character without Woody's ticks.
The movie is sweet, fun and shows Paris at her best with some stunning, gorgeous cinematography.
