Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Eclecticgamer — 13 Mar 2012
Not generally a fan of Woody Allen, I was pleasantly surprised by Midnight in Paris. Charming and quirky, I found myself smiling throughout the film and afterwards. Depending on which of the male characters you more closely resemble, you may either glow in the historical and literary references or look down upon them.
Not being a particular student of either, I found myself happily transported both by the whimsy and the theater like touches of music and scene transitions.
