Holy Crap this is a fantasy movie! An beautiful and historical look at Paris through the eyes of Woody Allen. "Midnight in Paris" is a surprisingly enjoyable, slightly pretentious, dream like ride across time.
Owen Wilson is charmingly quirky and Marion Cotillard is beautifully mesmerizing and mysterious as usual. Romance, fantasy and humour seems like a difficult sell but it really comes together into a solid film that works on all levels.
Break out the Cognac!
