Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Ken S — 24 Mar 2014
Woody Allen makes this charming, smart, and funny film about a man who wishes he could live in a simpler time, like Paris in the 1920s, and manages to somehow travel back in time and meet many of heroes.
The film is really well written, and Owen Wilson plays the lead perfectly with a blend of haplessness, awe, and wit. It's an excellent film from Allen, who proves he can continue to make quality films even as he gets older.
