Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Rob . — 04 Jan 2008
FINALLY. This is a movie that's an obvious sin not to have seen, and I have been a cinematic sinner on this one for far too long. A dollar rental got me a pardon.
Atmospherically engaging, rightfully alarming, and an fantastic screenplay. Just brilliant. As an amateur of electronic music, it was nice to hear Giorgio Moroder's classics again.
A low 3172 views on Flixster is pretty darn disappointing, but just a few hours ago, I was part of that problem.
