Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Justin And Denise S — 27 Feb 2008
A film that is so grimy and dirty, you feel the same way while watching it. But, this only adds to the experience. It really scares you into feeling trapped and alone in a foreign place. All the performances are great (even Randy Quaid, who'da thunk it?) but Brad Davis is the best of the bunch.
It's hearbreaking to think he could never go on to do more great rolls. This film is a perfect example of what we could have experienced had he lived.
