Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Sam G — 09 Mar 2008
One of the most disturbing films I have seen in a long time. Brad Davis makes the film shine and you will definitely sympathize with him by the end of the movie. While Midnight Express is based on a true story, the screenplay was written by Oliver Stone so there has to have been some exaggeration.
The film is a roller coaster as things go from bad to worse to terrible. By the end of the film you will never see Turkey the same way again.
