Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Monia V — 23 Jan 2009
Gripping and powerful film based on the true story of Billy Hayes (Davis), a young American busted in Turkey for trying to smuggle hashish.
This is not a movie for everyone: it's very hard to watch. Written by a young Oliver Stone and directed by Alan Parker, the overall effect is that this is an unforgettable story.
From a true OZ fan :).
