Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Kyo 9 — 30 Jul 2010

The story line was amazing.. how a young American foolishly caught smuggling drugs at the airport end up in jail.. He thought he was gonna be there around 2 years however the Turkish government decided to make him a scapegoat by sentencing another 30 years confinement.. He then tried to make his way out by going through wall which failed.. His life was so miserable which ended up being stated in the sanitarium room filled with crazy inmates.. The ending was kinda epic where he get his freedom by killing the head warden and steal his uniform..

Turkish might not wanna see this movie since it controversially condemn them as pigs.. I was surprised to know that Turkey has no pigs at all..
