(1978) Midnight Express.
DRAMA.
Based on an actual incident which portrays an American tourist caught sneaking a stash of marijuana though the airline in Turkey then spends the rest of the film showcasing how inhumane the conditions are after being prosecuted! Like others like it, I liked this film but like so many others, made before and after it, doesn't really offer anything new in terms of harsh prison conditions!
