Review of Midnight Eagle (2007) by Michael N — 18 Apr 2008
What a pleasant surprise. The movie starts slowly, reveals the character and plot details slowly, and comes to a great close. A Japanese war photographer loses himself as a result of terrible war experiences, only to find himself again not so much when his nation needs him but when his son does.
Very well done and certainly worth your time to go see. The really nice part is that the film is not filled with mindless violence or stupid one-liners like many action films. This is actually a good story.
