Review of Midnight Cowboy (1969) by Jeff C — 07 Sep 2008
Beautifully acted and scored story about two street outcasts who dream big, with Voight and Hoffman at their peaks. This could have been one of the all-time greats, but a few very dated wrong turns (like the Warholesque party) detract.
Otherwise, though, a stirring emotional experience.
