Review of Midnight Cowboy (1969) by Deric T — 23 Nov 2009
A little (or a lot) dated at times, and frankly I think Hoffman's performance borders on ridiculous. Some of the flashbacks/fantasies were unusual little surprises, but a few of them were kind of retarded.
Still, the film does have a way of getting under your skin. The ending reminded me a bit of El Norte.
