How in the world did this movie win the insanely overrated Best Picture award. Maybe this was in a time where the award was diverse and the voters had guts whereas now, all the movies are very formulaic.
This was a challenging film for that year and still is to most viewers today. Possibly one of the most correct choices that idiotic Academy has awarded right. One of the best films I have ever seen.
