A truly disturbing movie. even if it is very well made with awesome acting by Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voight. after more than 40 years it is still effective and disturbing - knowing that real life and truth does really hurt.
I can't decide which movie has more pathetic characters - this or Panic In Needle Park with Al Pacino. this was the best picture of the year 1970 and believe it not "X" rated (i don't know why but standards were different in those days).
