A superb film. Excellent directing, editing and performances, specially Voight and Hoffman of course, and it's surely one of the best works by Hoffman. It starts and easily you can realize that you are seeing something great, because of the music, the places, all the takes and the pacing is very fast.

Some scenes were impressive, and others were very odd, but maybe they were necessary from certain point of view. Dustin Hoffman's character is very mysterious, dark and a very sad character, completely different from Joe Buck, a very naive cowboy who can't initially see the disasters in the city.

It's a very good film, very deep. I just recently watched it for the second time, and I fell in love with this film, a beautiful movie no matter its subject. By the way, the song "Everybody's Talkin'" is awesome, the opening scenes with that song playing were pure cinema beauty.
