Middle School the Worst Years of My Life was funny! I remember reading all the books when I was in 6th Grade. so when I heard that a movie was coming out, I groaned. I walked into Middle School thinking that this film would appear on my list of worst films of the year list.

but surprisingly, while watching this film, I began to laugh. I'm serious I was laughing. I know that some people are going to be saying that " oh you thought that this film was funny? you must have no taste in film"! Well if I think that this film is funny then I can think that way.

anyways back to the film. the film is great not only for the jokes but also the writing and the overall story. This film also conveys a good message to kids. The message is to stand up for what you believe in and don't let others push you around.

I also like this film because the film stays true to the book. The original book was in the perspective of a new Middle schooler. Overall, this was a great film and I will totally purchase this movie.
