One of my favorite movies i've ever seen. it's heavy stuff for sure, but it devastated me because it's so real. i've known these kids, i've skated with them. i'm only 17, so I wasn't there, but I could see my friend's faces and hear their voices during this movie.
a really great piece of art. I walked in expecting something kinda cheesy and hollywood, but jonah hill has really made something beautiful, visceral, and real here.
