It's so passionate and specific to an identity, you can't help but praise how Jonah executed it exactly as he wanted. I do feel the story could have done much, much more with exploring its lead's transformation and coming-of-age experience, it seems a tad skimmed over.
But as a passion project and nostalgia piece, there's a lot here that really stands out, especially being someone who grew up as a skateboarder hanging out with similar-type people at this exact time.
