Review of Microcosmos (1996) by Jean G — 01 Oct 2008

A film of great beauty that enters into the world of insects. The music, sounds (not authentic) and visuals are wonderfully and magically married - it has the same direction as Planet Earth, but more limited in scope and yet highly superior. Some of the scenes are simply unbelievable. It has only one sentence in the way of commentary - the rest is taken care of by the insects, the cameras, the orchestra and the sound studio.

But what's with the cover? Looks like it's for a cartoons...
