Review of Micro Men (2009) by Jon H — 27 Oct 2009
Interesting flick into the history of British computing that sparked the memory synapses. Coming off like a UK version of Pirates of Silicon Valley, this film tells the battle between Chris Curry (Acorn Computers) and Clive Sinclair (Sinclair Computers) to introduce personal computing to the UK at an affordable price.
At times Alexander Armstrong played Sinclair a bit too much like a comedy character and would have preferred he tone it down, even though Sinclair was a despicable man. Freeman as Curry is good, but overshadowed by Armstrong's histrionics.
