Review of Micmacs (2009) by Andrew H — 06 Mar 2010
Is so blessed to b around at a time when filmakers r making such great films! The final in the double bill at the wonderful Duke of Yorks was MicMacs, easily the best I've seen from the director of Delicatessen and Amelie featuring people with another outlook on life getting the arms dealers to confess via YouTube to the world of their deals, with skill, inventiveness and cunning.
Couldn't help but be reminded of The Wonder Pets and Team Work and throughout, when I left and even now, just can't stop grinning from ear to ear! Thank goodness for Picturehouse Cinemas. And to think I nearly missed this 1!
