Review of Micmacs (2009) by Kaz N — 07 Oct 2010
This film was fantastic! words cannot describe how great this film was. J-P's excellent visual poetry was not only engauging but very entertianing. This was a film that itsn't taking itself seriously but has a deep dark messagage about war and corporate marketing of weapons.
What can I say, the periodic surreal moments were fuuny and very imaginative. My writing style and quite a number of my stories has simillarities with J-P's. He just want to write a great original story and take the audience into his imagination and shower us with a dream on film.
Amelie is most certainly my favorite French film of all time and this one is pretty much up to PAR, however both films had it's own unique quality, it's not even comparable.
