Review of Micmacs (2009) by Adrian M — 19 Dec 2010
Micmacs has a visual style somewhere between Jeunet's earlier films Amelie and Delicatessen. It is perhaps not quite as good as either one of those, but it is still wonderful. It is definitely one of the most visually inventive films of the year, and this collection of oddball characters is very fun.
