At first, I was thinking of Jeunet's brilliance as it relates to Chaplin and Keaton as "Modern Times" kept running through my head. But by the end, I couldn't help but think this is kind of like the French "Ernest Goes to Camp.
" That being said, I still think Jeunet is brilliant and one of the most innovative and imaginative filmmakers of our generation.
