Watched on 12/24/08. The movie that continues to save Christmas year after year. Some of my earliest memories are of this movie, it remains a mandatory must see every holiday season for me. Nostalgia aside, this short animated film touches on the poignant and dark themes of the Dickens' Classic while reataining the playful charm of Disney.
Special Recognition should go to Frederick Searles and Irwin Kostal for the song "Oh, What a Merry Christmas Day" an over looked classic in my mind. I still love this short as much as I did 20 years ago.
