Review of Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983) by Dustin G — 03 Dec 2009

I think this is a fantastic retelling of one of the most famous stories of all time. Yes it's quite liberal with its adaptation, it cuts huge swaths of the story out and get to where its going quick.

It's also more humorous and lighthearted than most other retellings, but you have to factor in the fact that not only is it a 25 minute TV special, but it's a kids special and it stars the Disney characters.

With all that in mind, they did an amazing job with it and this ranks up there with Frosty, Rudolf, Home Alone, It's A Wonderful Life and Charlie Brown's Christmas as a must watch every single Christmas.
