Review of Mickey Blue Eyes (1999) by Dafydd J — 19 Apr 2008
Absolute classic. I'm not a huge fan of this genre usually but it's such a funny film I have to admit it's worth a watch. Standout scenes include Hugh Grant trying on a Mafia accent in saying 'Get outta here', and 'Forget about it', but in his true 'English' accent, he can't grasp it and fails ridiculously, which left me in tears laughing.
It's a recipe for disaster if truth be told, Grant is due to marry a Mafioso's daughter and it all goes horribly wrong at the wedding...
