Review of Michael Moore in TrumpLand (2016) by Zeromz — 13 Nov 2016
I remember when Michael Moore's movies were involved, edited well and he went around doing leg work. Bowling for Columbine is one of my favourite documentaries of all time. This movie is one of the laziest things I've ever watched. Is this stand up comedy or a movie?
He's just walking on the stage the whole time giving his opinion. He isn't asking other people questions, or giving interviews. He isn't going to these places and showing what they're going through. He's just on stage, talking and ranting. This movie's so boring I doubt I'll finish watching it. I'm half way through and had to take a few pause breaks. This is one of only three movies I couldn't finish watching in my life. What a disappointment.
This isn't the brilliant director who's movies I fell in love with a few years ago. This is a man who drank too much political poison and lost touch with his audience/the average working American. Don't buy this movie. Wait for it to be one of those movies played on t.v. at the dead times or for it to be on Crackle. What a waste of time.
