An absolute masterpiece. A brilliant and important movie. It's a thought-provoking study of what can happen to an essentially good guy who takes a slight wrong turn in life. Beautifully directed with the deftest of touches by Frank Berry.
He illicits marvellous performances from Flynn, Dunford and one from Lalor Roddy that is up there with the very best. A masterclass of a performance. The score underpinning it all is perfect. A terrific polemic on the Irish criminal justice system, Michael Inside is an absolute must-see for any serious fan of film.
Bravo.
