Review of Michael Collins (1996) by Pat D — 20 Dec 2007
Not much to complain about here, aside from Julia Roberts, whose "now you hear it, now you don't" accent and wooden performance are cringe-inducing. Neil Jordan can almost always be relied upon to deliver the goods, and while this is one of his more conventional and crowd-pleasing ventures, it doesn't disappoint.
