Review of Michael Collins (1996) by Jonathan P — 12 Nov 2012
Such a great cast yet Michael Collins felt a bit flat in the emotion category. Liam Neeson plays the controversial Michael Collins to perfection and the supporting cast are all stellar as well. The problem arises in the fact that without a proper introduction to the issue at hand it is hard for the viewer (at least an American viewer like myself) to connect with the film.
Worth the watch but I was expecting a bit more.
