Review of Michael Collins (1996) by Diggerjohn O' The North — 11 Jul 2008
Mick Collins done up in an epic. Liam Neeson was superb as the controversial Irish revolutionary hero. Julia Roberts gave a surprising wonderful performance as Collins' true love. This film could easily be considered the cinematic chronicle of the Irish Revolution, though I disagree with the portrayal of Eamon de Valera as a kind of "Judas".
History shows otherwise.
