Pretty blah throughout, which is an ineffective reaction to a thriller. Clooney is great, and so is Swinton, but she by no means deserved an Oscar for THIS role. Child actors are either excellent or terrible, with no middle ground.
The kid who plays the son is terrible and brings down his scenes. Despite all the negativity I am exuding, this is a pretty decent movie. Just blah.
