Review of Michael Clayton (2007) by Ernst M — 28 Dec 2011
Micheal Clayton is a movie that will require your attention from beggining to end in order for you to put the pieces together. It is a very intelligent film, but it is slow paced. George Clooney is Micheal Clayton, a fixer for a very important law firm.
he is very good at what he does, but seems discontent with the life he is living and to make matters worse he is also in debt. His friend, who is a bit mad, Arther (Tom Wilkinson) is a lawyer for the same firm and realizes that one of the firms clients is hiding something and Clayton will have to make the decision of fixing the problem or listening to his friend.
Clooney´s performance is Oscar worthy. Tom Wilkinson and Tilda Swinton both give terrific performances as well and their nominations are well deserved as well. Overall it is an excellent film and one that will have you thinking.
