Review of Michael Clayton (2007) by Alberto A — 12 Nov 2014
Well, I saw this movie about 7 years ago, and I have to accept that I didn't understand most of what happened because I wasn't really acquainted with legal terms, for some reason I was still attached to the screen.
Now I understand how great this movie is: gripping suspense and an amazing storyline mixed with great performances and a great dialogue. George Clooney and Tilda Swinton are really worthy of praise, their performances maintain the tension throughout the film.
However, my favorite performance was delivered by the great Tom Wilkinson as Arthur, a lawyer who's disgusted, angry, and fed up with the world he lives in and the people inhabiting it. Michael Clayton is the pure depiction of the megalomania infested in the institutions that run the world.
U/North exists everywhere.
