John Travolta plays an angel who likes earthly pleasures like smoking and drinking but whose angelic duties ultimately win out. The film doesn't get away with having Travolta with a pair of wings behind his back looking believable, in a story that is rarely charming and mostly just dull and feeling a little meaningless.
