Review of Miami Vice (2006) by Brent M — 21 Oct 2009
This movie is really hard to review, because I'm such a big Michael Mann fan. He makes amazing movies, for the most part. And I'm simply giving this 3 stars because hands down this is one of the most visually outstanding and most beautiful films I've ever seen, but it lacked entertainment.
Sure there were a few good action scenes, but it dragged on for almost 3 hours with no real climax or nail biting. Though beautiful, this film could have actually used some action, non stop action in fact.
