Review of Miami Vice (2006) by Lenny M — 24 Jan 2010
There really is nothing likable about Michael Mann's "Miami Vice". The acting is wooden, the plot is extremely convoluted and to me, basically meaningless, the action was weak and it is just plain stupid.
Like Mann's previous film, "Collateral", the best part is the locations and the cinematography. The final nail in the coffin is that it bears absolutely no resemblance to the television show it was based on.
