(2006) Miami Vice- Unrated version.
ACTION.
Brand new rebooted adaption of the popular television show starring Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas replacing Colin Ferrell taking the role as Sonny Crockett and Jamie Foxx as Ricardo Tubbs who're going undercover after the former informant was later caught leading to an unfortunate accident. Eventually cross paths with the person responsible for the informants death than the cartel himself!
The "look" is right, but nothing really happens for it's almost impossible for it to be enjoyed at the theatre because it's not easy to make out what the characters are saying and should be watched as a rental since they're plenty of slangs almost mumbling fast to the point of needing the 'Close Captions' on. Nothing original what one can get from the televison series which the movie itself is somehow stretched into a two hour feature film flshing the characters riding their fast fancy boats, nice looking locales and fancy expensive clothes does not make the film which is all it has to show for it.
2 out of 4.
