Review of Miami Vice (2006) by Rafael L — 31 May 2011
Fairly tense, quite violent and as always with Mann, an atmospheric experience. Despite two convincing central performances and the effective sticky fluorescent Miami-night-lit cinematography this isn't structured well enough as a serious thriller - nor is it camp enough to even remotely resemble it's source material.
