Like Mann doing Malick doing Mann. Even the movies percieved "slightness" is a strength. It never drops to the "look at us" pomp of "Heat" and knows better than to dip into politics.
The pace is invigorating and the acting is fab. It's the kind of movie who's very flaws should prove beloved by its fans over time. Miss out at your own loss suckas.
