I consider it a courageous and necessary decision to give this movie it's own identity and not just repackage everything the TV show had to offer. The basic theme of being torn between moral identity and the temptations of money, power and lifestyle is still the spine of the story.
The HD cinematography gives it a breathtakingly real appearance.
