Why not let the guy with an Oscar on his resume do the heavy lifting? Jamie Foxx is given so little to do, he might as well be Phillip Michael Thomas. Colin Farrell(in his best screen performance) does an admirable job of looking conflicted, but something tells me Foxx would've elevated "Miami Vice" from the merely atmospheric and into something akin to rousing.
In the Phonetic Olympics of 2006, Gong Li edges out Audrey Tautou for the gold.
